Motherwell, Wishaw and Carluke ist ein Wahlkreis (englisch constituency) im Zentrum Schottlands, der einen Abgeordneten ins britische Unterhaus (House of Commons) entsendet. Er besteht seit 2024 und liegt in den Council Areas North Lanarkshire und South Lanarkshire. Bedeutende Orte im Wahlkreis sind Carluke, Forth, Motherwell und Wishaw.
Geschichte
Die Boundary Commission for Scotland schuf den Wahlkreis im Hinblick auf die Unterhauswahl 2024. Er entstand aus Teilen der aufgelösten Wahlkreise Motherwell and Wishaw und Lanark and Hamilton East.
Der Wahlkreis umfasst folgende Gebiete:
- seit 2024: in der North Lanarkshire Council Area die Wards Motherwell North (teilweise), Motherwell South East & Ravenscraig, Motherwell West, Murdostoun (teilweise) und Wishaw sowie in der South Lanarkshire Council Area die Wards Clydesdale North (kleiner Teil) und Clydesdale West[2]
