Inverclyde and Renfrewshire West ist ein Wahlkreis (englisch constituency) im Zentrum Schottlands, der einen Abgeordneten ins britische Unterhaus (House of Commons) entsendet. Er besteht seit 2024 und liegt in den Council Areas Inverclyde und Renfrewshire. Bedeutende Orte im Wahlkreis sind Bridge of Weir, Gourock, Greenock, Inverkip, Kilmacolm und Port Glasgow.
Geschichte
Die Boundary Commission for Scotland schuf den Wahlkreis im Hinblick auf die Unterhauswahl 2024. Er entstand aus dem aufgelösten Wahlkreis Inverclyde und Teilen des weiterhin bestehenden Wahlkreises Paisley and Renfrewshire North.
Der Wahlkreis umfasst folgende Gebiete:
- seit 2024: die gesamte Inverclyde Council Area mit den Wards Inverclyde Central, Inverclyde East, Inverclyde East Central, Inverclyde North, Inverclyde South West und Inverclyde South sowie in der Renfrewshire Council Area die Wards Bishopton, Bridge of Weir & Langbank (teilweise) und Houston, Crosslee & Linwood (teilweise)[2]
