Hamilton and Clyde Valley ist ein Wahlkreis (englisch constituency) im Zentrum Schottlands, der einen Abgeordneten ins britische Unterhaus (House of Commons) entsendet. Er besteht seit 2024 und liegt in der Council Area South Lanarkshire. Bedeutende Orte im Wahlkreis sind Hamilton, Kirkmuirhill, Lanark, Larkhall und Lesmahagow.
Geschichte
Die Boundary Commission for Scotland schuf den Wahlkreis im Hinblick auf die Unterhauswahl 2024. Er entstand aus Teilen der aufgelösten Wahlkreise East Kilbride, Strathaven and Lesmahagow, Lanark and Hamilton East und Rutherglen and Hamilton West.
Der Wahlkreis umfasst folgende Gebiete:
- seit 2024: in der South Lanarkshire Council Area die Wards Clydesdale West (teilweise), Clydesdale North (teilweise), Clydesdale South (teilweise), Hamilton North & East, Hamilton West & Earnock, Hamilton South und Larkhall[2]
