Tân Phước is a ward (phường) of Ho Chi Minh City, in Vietnam. It is one of 168 new wards, communes and special zones in Ho Chi Minh City after the 2025 arrangement.[1][2]
Geography
Tân Phước is located south of Ho Chi Minh City, formerly used to be in Ba Ria - Vung Tau. The Ward is located on the road from Saigon Ward to Bà Rịa, about 60 kilometers southeast of Saigon, and has the following geographical locationː
- To the north, it borders Phú Mỹ
- To the east, it borders Châu Pha
- To the south, it borders Tân Hải
- To the southwest, it borders Ganh Rai Bay
- To the west, it borders Thanh An commune with the boundary being Thi Vai river.
According to Official Dispatch No. 2896/BNV-CQDP dated May 27, 2025 of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Tan Phuoc ward after the arrangement has an area of 83.62 km², population as of December 31, 2024 is 29,363 people, population density reaches 351 people/km² (statistical data as of December 31, 2024 according to regulations in Article 6 of Resolution No. 76/2025/UBTVQH15 dated April 14, 2025 of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly).[3]
