Hammersmith and Chiswick ist ein Wahlkreis (englisch constituency) in der Hauptstadtregion Greater London im Südosten Englands, der einen Abgeordneten ins britische Unterhaus (House of Commons) entsendet. Er liegt westlich des Stadtzentrums in den Boroughs Hammersmith and Fulham und Hounslow. Der seit 2024 bestehende Wahlkreis umfasst die Stadtteile Brook Green, Chiswick, Gunnersbury, Hammersmith, Shepherd’s Bush und White City.
Geschichte
Die Boundary Commission for England schuf den Wahlkreis im Hinblick auf die Unterhauswahl 2024. Er entstand aus Teilen des aufgelösten Wahlkreises Hammersmith sowie einem Teil des weiterhin bestehenden Wahlkreises Brentford and Isleworth.
Der Wahlkreis umfasst folgende Gebiete:
- seit 2024: im London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham die Wards Addison, Avonmore, Brook Green, Coningham, Grove, Hammersmith Broadway, Ravenscourt, Shepherd’s Bush Green, Wendell Park und White City sowie im London Borough of Hounslow die Wards Chiswick Gunnersbury, Chiswick Homefields und Chiswick Riverside[2]
