vyzuť pf (imperfective vyzúvať)

  1. (transitive) to take off, to remove (to take footwear, such as shoes, boots, or socks, off the feet)

  2. (transitive) to help take off shoes (to remove footwear from another person's feet, often a child or someone unable to do it themselves)

  3. (reflexive with sa) to take off one's shoes (to remove one's own footwear)
    Baganče ma tak tlačili, že som sa v polovici cesty musel vyzuť.The boots were pinching me so much that I had to take them off halfway.
  4. (reflexive with sa) to slip off, to come off (of footwear: to become loose and fall off the foot accidentally)
