நெளி • (neḷi) (intransitive)

1. to crawl, slither
2. to squirm, writhe, wriggle

   செத்துப் போன மிருகத்தின் சடலத்தில் பல புழுக்கள் நெளிந்துக்கொண்டிருந்தன.

   cettup pōṉa mirukattiṉ caṭalattil pala puḻukkaḷ neḷintukkoṇṭiruntaṉa.

   There were many worms wriggling around in the dead animal's carcass.

3. to bend, roll in

   Synonym: சுருளு (curuḷu)

4. to be dented, bent out of shape, as vessels

   Synonym: அதுங்கு (atuṅku)
