        A Taiwanese man, having lost all his gambling funds, followed a local female gambler near the LRT Pai Kok station and attempted to rob her, trying to snatch a handbag containing valuables worth over 1.03 million patacas. However, the victim resisted and shouted, deterring the assailant. After the failed attempt, the suspect fled the scene by taxi. The victim immediately reported the incident to the police.
