Košické Oľšany (Slovak pronunciation: [ˈkɔʂitskeː ˈɔʎʂani]; Hungarian: Kassaolcsvár) is a village and municipality in Košice-okolie District in the Košice Region of eastern Slovakia.
History
In historical records, the village was first mentioned in 1288 when a part of the village belonged to Slanec Lords, and the other part to Krásna nad Hornádom's Benedictine abbey.
Geography
The municipality lies at an altitude of 193 metres (633 ft)[3] and covers an area of 8.66 km2 (3.34 sq mi) (2024).[4]
