The 2025 ReliaQuest Bowl is a college football bowl game that is scheduled to be played on December 31, 2025, at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. The 40th annual ReliaQuest Bowl (though only the fourth under said name after being played as the Outback Bowl from 1996 to 2022), game will feature the Iowa Hawkeyes from the Big Ten Conference and the Vanderbilt Commodores from the Southeastern Conference. The game is scheduled to begin at 12:00 p.m. EST and will air on ESPN.[1][2] It will be one of the 2025–26 bowl games concluding the 2025 FBS football season. The game's title sponsor is the ReliaQuest cybersecurity company.
Teams
Based on conference tie-ins, the game will feature Iowa (8–4, 6–3 Big Ten) of the Big Ten Conference and Vanderbilt (10–2, 6–2 SEC) of the Southeastern Conference. These two programs have never played each other. Iowa will make its seventh appearance in the ReliaQuest Bowl (previously played as the Outback Bowl and Hall of Fame Bowl), while Vanderbilt will be playing in this bowl game for the first time.
