The 2025–26 I-League 2 will be the 18th season of the I-League 2 since its establishment in 2008. It is also the 4th season as the third tier of the Indian football league system. The top two clubs will secure a place in the 2026–27 I-League season. Diamond Harbour were the defending champions, having won the 2024–25 I-League 2.[2]

To I-League 2Relegated from 2024–25 I-League The AIFF appeal committee stayed relegation for Delhi and Sporting Bengaluru from the 2024–25 I-League season until it arrives at a final judgement. Later, CAS terminated SC Bengaluru's appeal over non-payment and both teams are set to enter I-League 2 this season.[4] Promoted from 2024–25 I-League 3 Promoted from 2025–26 I-League 3
