The 2025–26 season was the club's 12th season in Indian Super League since its establishment in 2014. In addition to the league, they also competed in the Durand Cup and AIFF Super Cup. On 23 August 2025, NorthEast United won their 2nd Durand Cup title after defeating Diamond Harbour FC in the final. This was their consecutive Durand Cup title.[1]
