A presidential election was held in Indiana on November 4, 1952, as part of the 1952 United States presidential election. The Republican ticket of the Supreme Allied Commander Europe Dwight D. Eisenhower and the junior U.S. senator from California Richard Nixon defeated the Democratic ticket of the governor of Illinois Adlai Stevenson II and the junior U.S. senator from Alabama John Sparkman. Eisenhower defeated Stevenson in the national election with 442 electoral votes.[3]

Eisenhower became the first Republican presidential candidate to carry Brown and Dubois counties.[4]
