Etymology

Literally, one who is causing someone to learn, from the root 'an (to have, possess, keep) with the singular human nominalizing suffix -enh. Equivalent to xwdoxwdel'ighenh (student, literally one who learns), with the causative ɬ-classifier in place of the l-classifier and the indefinite object prefix ch'-.
