1. a mesh of string, cord or rope.

   tenis ağı ― tennis net

   balık ağı ― fish net

2. the silken structure which a spider builds using silk secreted from the spinnerets at the caudal tip of its abdomen; a spiderweb.
3. (figuratively) A trap.

   Onu, ağına düşmüş bir av gibi ne öldürdü ne ondurdu.

   He neither killed nor recovered him like he was a catch that fell into his trap.

4. a system that interconnects a number of users, locations etc. allowing transport or communication between them.
