Usage notes
In Kabyle orthography, ţ traditionally represents the affricate /t͡s/, paired with z̧ for /d͡z/. Because the affricates are morphologically conditioned, the INALCO standard does not use ţ, instead representing the underlying consonants (e.g. tt or ss) for pan-dialectal consistency.
