The 26502/26501 Gorakhpur – Patliputra Vande Bharat Express via Muzaffarpur is India's 70th Vande Bharat Express train, which will be connecting the Gorakhnath Math temple city, Gorakhpur with the metropolitan and capital city, Patna in the eastern side of Bihar. [1][2]
This express train was inaugurated on 20 June 2025, by Prime Minister Narendra Modi via video-conferencing from Siwan, a city located in the eastern state of Bihar.[3][4][5][6][7]

This express train is operated by Indian Railways, connecting Patliputra Jn, Hajipur Jn, Muzaffarpur Jn, Bapudham Motihari, Sagauli Jn, Bettiah, Narkatiaganj Jn, Bagaha, Kaptanganj Jn and Gorakhpur Jn . It is currently operated with train numbers 26501/26502 on 6 days a week basis.
Rakes
It is India's 65th 2nd Generation Mini Vande Bharat Express train which was designed and manufactured by the Integral Coach Factory at Perambur, Chennai under the Make in India Initiative.[8]
