Dinda Putri Maharani (born 22 August 2003), better known as Dinda (Korean: 딘다), is an Indonesian singer, actress, and model who works in South Korea.[1] She is known as a member of the girl group Secret Number under Vine Entertainment, and officially debuted with the group on August 19, 2025.[2]
Career
Early career
Before pursuing a career in South Korea, Dinda was active in the Indonesian entertainment industry. She was known through her role as Selena in the Indonesian web series titled Abighea (2021). Besides acting, Dinda also worked as a model and often uploaded song cover videos on her personal social media.[3]
One of the cover videos she uploaded garnered public attention after being reposted by a member of the group NCT, which is Dinda's favorite group. Since then, she began to gain recognition among Korean music fans in Indonesia for her singing and dancing abilities.[4]
Joining Secret Number
On August 19, 2025, Vine Entertainment officially introduced Dinda as one of the four new members of Secret Number along with Ebin, Navi, and Minssi. The new lineup was introduced concurrently with the release of the group's eighth single titled Don't Touch.[5]
Before her official debut, Dinda appeared in a duet video with another Secret Number member, Zuu, performing the song Terserah by Raisa. The video was uploaded on Secret Number's official YouTube channel and received a positive response from the public, including Raisa herself.[6]
Dinda's presence marks the second time an Indonesian woman has become a member of Secret Number after Dita Karang, who debuted in 2020. Dinda also adds to the list of Indonesian idols pursuing a career in South Korea, alongside names such as Zayyan (Xodiac), Kim (VVUP), and Carmen (Hearts2Hearts).[7]
Personal life
Dinda Putri Maharani was born in Jakarta on August 22, 2003. She is a fan of the K-pop group NCT, and considers Mark Lee her idol. Even before her debut, Dinda was known for actively sharing her singing activities and dance practice sessions on social media.[8]
