2024–25 Choco Mucho Flying Titans season

The 2024–25 Choco Mucho Flying Titans season was the sixth season of the Choco Mucho Flying Titans in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL).

Season summary

Choco Mucho retained their roster from the previous season going into the All-Filipino Conference. In the preliminary round, the team had a middling start by going 2–3 in their first three matches. They then went on a six-match winning streak to end the prelims, finishing fifth with an 8–3 record and 20 points.[1] In the qualifying round, the Flying Titans beat the Chery Tiggo Crossovers to earn an outright berth to the final round.[2] In the quarterfinals, the team swept the PLDT High Speed Hitters in the best-of-three series to advance to the round-robin semifinals. Unfortunately, Choco Mucho lost all three matches, only gaining one point during the round. They were then matched against the Akari Chargers in the bronze medal series. After trailing 0–1, the Flying Titans tied the series in the second match. The team, however, wasn't able to close out the series in the end, losing to Akari in straight sets, and finishing the conference in fourth place.[3]

Ahead of the preseason PVL on Tour, Maika Ortiz departed for the Zus Coffee Thunderbelles. In the prelims, Choco Mucho won their first match against the Galeries Tower Highrisers. It would end up being the only match they won, as they finished the prelims with a 1–4 record and only three points. In the knockout round, the team was leading, 2–0, in their match against Zus Coffee, but ended up losing in a reverse sweep and was thus eliminated from final round contention.[4]

For the Reinforced Conference, the team signed Anyse Smith as their foreign guest player.[5][6]
