Prefix

ttwa-

  1. verbal prefix forming passives
    ttwa- + ‎aru (to write) → ‎ttwaru (to be written)
    ttwa- + ‎enɣ (to kill) → ‎ttwaneɣ (to be killed)

Usage notes

Unlike many languages, passive counterparts to verbs in Kabyle are not inflections nor auxiliary verb constructions, but rather derived terms created by derivational prefixes.
