    • 1967, “Luke 1:31”, in Ao Naga Common Language Bible, Bible Society of India:
      Na mashisa akümtsü aser tanur ka asotsü, aser nai pa tenüng Yisu ta ajatsü.
      You will become pregnant and a son will be born, and you will call him the name "Jesus".

Usage notes

  • Used mostly with aküm (“to become”) and ali (“to be”), to indicate when a woman has gotten or is pregnant respectively.
  • When used attributively, this word is followed by aliba (“being”).
