ho- (“space, area, things”) + -ni- (adjectival) + -◌́- (ni-modal 3rd person subject prefix) + -∅- (classifier) + -kʼą́ (neuter imperfective stem of root -KʼĄĄD, “to tilt, slant”). Equivalent to ho- + dikʼą́.
