Possibly borrowed from Rhine Franconian Fēks (cunning, immoral woman) and then reconstructed as Proto-Germanic *faihiso (deceitful woman), from Proto-Germanic *faihaz (hostile). Cognate with West Frisian fekke, fikke.[1]
