biorobot (plural biorobots)

  1. (science fiction) A biological organism that has been created and designed by artificial means.
  2. A person who performs robot-like tasks, or performs tasks in place of a robot.
    1. (historical, informal) Any of the soldiers sent in to Chernobyl to clean up the radioactive hazard after an attempt with remote-controlled robots had failed.
