bighá- (through it) + -ni- (thematic) + -ní- (ni-perfective 3rd person subject prefix) + -ł- (classifier) + -yé (momentaneous stem of root -YĄ́, “to grow”). In this root, the ł- classifier and initial /j/ merge to form /s/.
