-аци (-aci)

1. forms adjectives from verbs, pertaining to a property of a concept that performs the action or is in the state expressed by the verb; or that the object they refer to can perform the action of the verb; or expresses a passive possibility (i.e. that a certain action can be performed on the object they refer to)

• Sometimes coincides with the present active participle of Class 2a verbs. However, the present active participle of Class 1 and Class 5 verbs (see Template:rsk-conj for verb classification details) end in -аюци / -яюци (-ajuci / -jajuci) and -нюци (-njuci) respectively, in which case this is an entirely separate formation, which is a synonymous usage with the participle in some cases.
