𒉺𒊏𒀀𒄿

From Proto-Indo-European *preh₁-. According to the LIV, the term was inherited from Proto-Indo-European *pr̥h₁-yé-ti, whence also perhaps Russian пре́ть (prétʹ).[1] However, Kloekhorst suggests that the term was actually inherited from Proto-Indo-European *pr̥h₁-óy-ey ~ pr̥h₁-i-énti.[2]
