𑀣𑀓𑁆𑀓

Prakrit

Etymology

Inherited from Sanskrit स्थ (stha, standing) + Middle Indo-Aryan -𑀓𑁆𑀓- (-kka-), ultimately from the root स्था (sthā, to stand). The extension must be at least partial influenced by the class of past participles ending in -kka (e.g. 𑀫𑀼𑀓𑁆𑀓 (mukka, freed)) which often get denominalised.[1]

    1. remaining, stuck
    2. tired
      Synonym: 𑀲𑀁𑀢 (saṃta)
