      ある(とき)(わたし)(ちち)遠乗(とおの)をして海岸(かいがん)漁師村(りょうしむら)(とお)りすぎようとすると、(みち)(あそ)んでいた子供(こども)がびっくりした(こえ)で、「お(かあ)さん、また二輪車(にりんしゃ)()たよう!」と、(あわ)てて(はは)()んだ。
      Aru toki, watashi no chichi ga tōnori o shite kaigan no ryōshi-mura o tōrisugiyō to suru to, michi de asondeita kodomo ga bikkuri shita koe de,“o-kā-san, mata nirinsha ga kita yō!” to, awatete haha o yonda.
      On one occasion, when my father was going on a long journey through the coastal fisher's village, some children who were playing in the road said surprisedly, “Mother, the two-wheeler is back!” calling their mother in a panic.
