Usage notes
- These offences are divided into seven types, namely, ปาราชิก, สังฆาทิเสส, ถุลลัจจัย, ปาจิตตีย์, ปาฏิเทสนีย์, ทุกกฏ, and ทุพภาสิต, of which the first is the most serious and only results in the deprivation of priesthood while the rest is considered excused upon confession to a quorum of priests.[1]
