1. to hang; to suspend

   അവൻ ചുമരിൽ ഒരു ചിത്രം തൂക്കി.

   avaṉ cumaril oru citraṁ tūkki.

   He hung a picture on the wall.

2. to hang to death; to execute by hanging

   കുറ്റവാളിയെ നാളെ തൂക്കും.

   kuṟṟavāḷiye nāḷe tūkkuṁ.

   The criminal will be hanged tomorrow.

3. to weigh (measure the weight of something)

   കടക്കാരൻ അരി തൂക്കി കൊടുത്തു.

   kaṭakkāraṉ ari tūkki koṭuttu.

   The shopkeeper weighed and gave the rice.

4. (slang) to catch; to nab or bust someone (especially while doing something wrong)

   അവൻ ക്ലാസ് കട്ട് ചെയ്യാൻ നോക്കി, പക്ഷേ അവനെ പ്രിൻസിപ്പൾ തൂക്കി.

   avaṉ klāsŭ kaṭṭŭ ceyyāṉ nōkki, pakṣē avane priṉsippaḷ tūkki.

   He tried to bunk the class, but the Principal caught/nabbed him.
