    Inherited from Old Marathi 𑘑𑘳𑘦𑘜𑘹 (ghumaṇe), from Prakrit 𑀖𑀼𑀫𑁆𑀫𑀇 (ghummaï), possibly denominal verb from Proto-Indo-Aryan *gʰr̥Hmás, from *gʰarH- + *-más.
