Usage notes
- This is the only term used in anatomical and medical contexts to mean "hand". It is almost never used outside those contexts in this way and may not be recognised as such by many speakers. In everyday speech the word for "arm", "рака", is used. When disambiguating, the word "дланка", technically meaning "palm", or the Serbian borrowing "шака" are most often used.
