Usage notes

  • Despite the related terms beginning with познава- (poznava-), there does not exist a standalone imperfective form *познавац (*poznavac). This form does however exist in prefixed variants, such as розпознавац (rozpoznavac), упознавац (upoznavac).
  • припознац (pripoznac) is used to express "recognize" in the sense of acknowledgement, and not this term.
