Trhovište (Hungarian: Vásárhely) is a village and municipality in Michalovce District in the Košice Region of eastern Slovakia.

History

In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1220 as Vasarhel.

Geography

The municipality lies at an altitude of 132 metres (433 ft)[3] and covers an area of 12.55 km2 (4.85 sq mi) (2024).[4]
