Slavkovce, Slovakia

Slavkovce (Hungarian: Szalók) is a village and municipality in Michalovce District in the Kosice Region of eastern Slovakia.

In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1315.

The municipality lies at an altitude of 101 metres (331 ft)^[3] and covers an area of 9.18 km² (3.54 sq mi) (2024).^[4]

It has a population of 739 people (31 December 2024).^[6]

In year 2021 was 705 people by ethnicity 651 as Slovak, 34 as Not found out, 30 as Romani, 17 as Ukrainian, 7 as Czech, 4 as Rusyn, 4 as Hungarian, 3 as Russian and 1 as French.
