Impax Environmental Markets is an investment trust focused on environmental companies in North America, Europe and Asia. It is listed on the London Stock Exchange and is a constituent of the FTSE 250 Index.[1]
History
The fund was established in January 2002.[2] It was named Best Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Trust by ADVFN for 2020.[3] It was co-managed by Bruce Jenkyn-Jones and Charles French of Impax Asset Management Group until the former retired, leaving French in sole position, in April 2025.[4] The company holds regular continuation votes to confirm that shareholders wish it to continue in its current form, or to wind up.[5] The chairman is Glen Suarez.[6]
