Baliran (Persian: بليران, also Romanized as Baleyrān)[1] known as Baliran is a village in Dasht-e Sar District of Amol County, Mazandaran Province, Iran. At the 2016 census, its population was 140, in 50 families.[2] Up from 101 people in 2006.[3] People of the village speak the Mazanderani language in Amoli dialect.[4]
The agricultural products of the village include Rice, Vegetable, Apple, Pear, Quince and Animal product.[4]
Geography
Baliran is among the touristic villages in Mazandaran province. It's on the northern foothills of the central Alborz mountains in the hyrcanian forests, with Komdarreh, Zavarak and Shahneh Kola villages to its north. Garmrud river passes through the river from south to north.
Due to some features, such as river passing through it, and having traditional texture and native architecture, the forest park, Kalchengom pasture, and the Gru and Lalehzar mineral springs, it was introduced as a model tourism area in 2008.[4]
