Bánov (Hungarian: Bánkeszi) is a municipality and village in the Nové Zámky District in the Nitra Region of south-west Slovakia.

History

In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1113.

Geography

The municipality lies at an altitude of 121 metres (397 ft)[3] and covers an area of 19.76 km2 (7.63 sq mi) (2024).[4]
