The 2026 FIA World Endurance Championship will be the fourteenth season of the FIA World Endurance Championship, a sports car racing series organised by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) and the Automobile Club de l'Ouest (ACO). The series will be open to Hypercars (built under Le Mans Hypercar (LMH) or Le Mans Daytona h (LMDh) regulations) and LMGT3 racing cars.
Calendar
The calendar was announced on 13 June 2025, during the 2025 24 Hours of Le Mans weekend. The calendar is unchanged from 2025, with the only notable change that the Qatar race moves from February to March.[1]

Entries
Hypercar
Hypercar team changes
- Hyundai will make their debut in the World Endurance Championship under their Genesis brand, with the cars built by Oreca.[19]
- 2024 Hypercar World Endurance Drivers' Champions Porsche Penske Motorsport will leave the series, as Porsche switches its focus to the IMSA SportsCar Championship.[20] Proton Competition will also leave the Hypercar class following Porsche's exit.[21]
Hypercar driver changes
- Genesis Magma Racing signed 2023 WEC Hypercar champion, Andre Lotterer and 2023 IMSA SportsCar GTP champion, Pipo Derani.[9] TF Sport LMGT3 driver Daniel Juncadella also joining the Korean manufacturer, along with his ELMS LMP2 teammate Mathys Jaubert.[10] The team finalised their line up with signing former Alpine and Porsche Hypercar drivers Paul-Loup Chatin and Mathieu Jaminet.[11]
- Jenson Button left Jota Sport and the series after competed for two years.[22] Button's replacement will be IMSA Cadillac driver, Jack Aitken.[6]
- 2024–25 Formula E runner-up Nick Cassidy will make his debut in Hypercar with Peugeot Sport, and 2023 Formula 2 Champion Théo Pourchaire will debut his full season debut.[16][18] Stoffel Vandoorne, who initially leaves the team, will rejoin the team, while Jean-Éric Vergne set to take on a development role in the team and focus on his Formula E campaign with Citroën Racing.[17] Mikkel Jensen also will leave the team to compete in IMSA SportsCar's LMP2 class with United Autosports.[23][24]
- Alpine Endurance Team saw Paul-Loup Chatin and Mick Schumacher leave the team, with Chatin to the new Genesis team and Schumacher to IndyCar with Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing.[11][25] António Félix da Costa returns to the series after two years away to compete in Formula E, as he replaces Chatin.[12]
- Departing team Porsche Penske Motorsport saw Julien Andlauer, Kévin Estre, Laurens Vanthoor, and Matt Campbell following the team's IMSA GTP campaign.[26] While Mathieu Jaminet move to the new Genesis team.[11]
LMGT3
LMGT3 team changes
- Garage 59 will make their series debut replacing United Autosports to run the McLaren cars.[27]
- After 4 years in the series, Iron Dames will discontinue their WEC campaign, and the entry will return back to Manthey Racing.[44]
- Racing Team Turkey returns to the FIA WEC, making their LMGT3 debut with Corvette and TF Sport.
- Heart of Racing Team will bring two LMGT3 entries with the 23 Aston Martin Vantage LMGT3 replacing the single Racing Spirit of Léman entry from 2025.[3]
