The 2026 FIA World Endurance Championship will be the fourteenth season of the FIA World Endurance Championship, a sports car racing series organised by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) and the Automobile Club de l'Ouest (ACO). The series will be open to Hypercars (built under Le Mans Hypercar (LMH) or Le Mans Daytona h (LMDh) regulations) and LMGT3 racing cars.

Calendar

The calendar was announced on 13 June 2025, during the 2025 24 Hours of Le Mans weekend. The calendar is unchanged from 2025, with the only notable change that the Qatar race moves from February to March.[1]

Hypercar team changes
  • Hyundai will make their debut in the World Endurance Championship under their Genesis brand, with the cars built by Oreca.[19]
  • 2024 Hypercar World Endurance Drivers' Champions Porsche Penske Motorsport will leave the series, as Porsche switches its focus to the IMSA SportsCar Championship.[20] Proton Competition will also leave the Hypercar class following Porsche's exit.[21]

LMGT3 team changes
  • Garage 59 will make their series debut replacing United Autosports to run the McLaren cars.[27]
  • After 4 years in the series, Iron Dames will discontinue their WEC campaign, and the entry will return back to Manthey Racing.[44]
  • Racing Team Turkey returns to the FIA WEC, making their LMGT3 debut with Corvette and TF Sport.
  • Heart of Racing Team will bring two LMGT3 entries with the 23 Aston Martin Vantage LMGT3 replacing the single Racing Spirit of Léman entry from 2025.[3]
