2025 Women's T20 World Cup Africa Qualifier
The 2025 ICC Women's T20 World Cup Africa Qualifier was a cricket tournament that formed part of the qualification process for the 2026 Women's T20 World Cup. The first stage of the tournament was Division Two, played in Botswana in July 2025, during which eight teams competed.[1] Rwanda and Sierra Leone reached the final of Division Two and therefore progressed to Division One.[2][3] Rwanda defeated Sierra Leone by 51 runs in the final.[4]
Division One was played in Namibia in September, with the top two sides advancing to the Global Qualifier.[5] Namibia and Zimbabwe secured the qualification places.[6] Zimbabwe defeated Namibia in the final by 9 wickets.[7] Nigeria and Sierra Leone were relegated to Division Two, despite Nigeria's Lucky Piety being named player of the series.[8][9][10]
