The 2025–26 VfL Bochum season is the 88th season in the club's history.
Review and events
On 15 September 2025 head coach Dieter Hecking and athletic director Dirk Dufner were sacked. David Siebers was appointed caretaker.[1] On 2 October 2025 the club announced the appointment of Uwe Rösler as head coach starting 6 October 2025.[2]
