The 2025–26 season is the 16th iteration of the Eredivisie, the top national women's football league in the Netherlands. The season started on 6 September 2025 and ends on 22 May 2026.[1] This season, the three bottom-finishing teams will be relegated to the Vrouwen Eerste Divisie.[2]

FC Twente entered the season as the two-time defending champion and also won the KNVB Women's Super Cup immediately before the start of the season.[3] Twente, PSV, and Ajax are also competing in European club competitions during the season.[4]

Format

The 12 teams in the league play in a double round-robin format: each team plays all other teams twice over 22 rounds, once at home and once away.[5]
