The 1976–77 season was the 7th season of Paris Saint-Germain FC.[1] PSG played most of their home league matches at the Parc des Princes, but also one at the Stade Bauer, with an average attendance of 22,700 spectators per match.[1][2] The club's president was Daniel Hechter.[1] The team's manager was Velibor Vasović until May 1977, when Ilija Pantelić took over.[1][3] Mustapha Dahleb was the team captain.[4] PSG finished ninth in Division 1 and reached the round of 16 of the Coupe de France. Mustapha Dahleb was the club's top scorer this season with 26 goals, 22 of them in the league.[1]
