112 (India) – ERSS

112 is the all-in-one emergency telephone number in India for police, fire and ambulance services.[1][2] It operates under the Emergency Response Support System (ERSS) of the Ministry of Home Affairs.[3][4][5]

Access

Users can:

  • Dial 112 from any phone (even without balance)
  • Use the 112 India app.[6]
  • Press the smartphone power button 3 times for SOS
