Etymology
From a March 2025 tweet by @anietotylkoja, a Polish X user, stating that "In Poland, when you turn 19, you are tested to see if you can serve", referring to service in the Polish military.[1] The phrase turn 19 in Poland then began to be used by Stan Twitter users to mean serve (“to present an attractive personal appearance”), a slang term popular within the community.[2]
