Lower Tanana

Etymology

From Proto-Athabaskan *taˑtɬʼ, which had the additional meaning 'to kick, move the foot' as seen in Ahtna taatlʼ (to kick, burst) and Navajo -TÁÁL (to kick, pop). The primary Lower Tanana root for kicking is dhik.
