  1. The act or practice of traveling into the future or past.
  2. (video games) The act of modifying the internal clock of a video game or the platform running said video game, usually in order to trigger time-based events earlier than they're meant to.
    I often time-travel in Animal Crossing so that I don't have to wait for my trees to grow.
