Etymology

Literally mind +‎ virus. (This etymology is missing or incomplete. Please add to it, or discuss it at the Etymology scriptorium. Particularly: “Since when? Origin?”)

Related to the use of woke mind virus. However, this term clearly predates the modern usage of woke mind virus, as evidenced e.g. by an xkcd comic published on 3 March 2008 entitled “Anti-Mindvirus”,[1] referencing The Game.
