  1. (humorous, Internet slang, derogatory, offensive, ethnic slur) Malay people who behave with a backwards attitude, especially with conservative, racist, or extremely religious views.

Usage notes

Even though it was created by a Malay blogger to highlight stereotypically-racist views or backwards attitudes held by certain segments of the community, this word is generally considered offensive to Malay people in general due to its use as a slur.[1] Some Malays also use it to criticise social ills in their society.
